⚙️ How to Configure
As an administrator, you can manage the User Feed plugin settings directly from your Buzzy Admin Panel under User Feeds Settings.
- Default Feed View: Select the landing tab for users (either Category-based feed or Following-based feed).
- Default Sort Order: Choose the initial sorting algorithm (Latest, Popular, or Trending).
- Enable Following Feed: Toggle whether to allow users to view content from accounts they follow (requires the User Follow plugin).
- Pagination Style: Select how posts load (Auto Load / Infinite Scroll, Load More button, or Simple Pagination).
- Post Details: Show or hide short post excerpts and author metadata to keep the feed clean.
- Maximum Category Preferences: Set the maximum number of favorite categories a user can choose to curate their feed (e.g. 5).
- Category Exclusions: Select specific categories to hide globally from all personal feeds.
🌐 User Experience
Registered users will see a new "My Feed" section inside their account area:
- They can instantly browse fresh content sorted by their preferences.
- Under "Preferences", they can easily choose which categories they want to prioritize.
- Switch between tabs to see posts from their favorite topics or from authors they follow.
