No. Buzzy Classic and the new Buzzy are separate products with different licensing systems and purchase terms.

Your existing Buzzy Classic license remains valid under its original purchase terms, but it does not activate the new Buzzy.

Existing Buzzy Classic customers can use our dedicated migration tools to move supported content and data to the new platform. Review the available upgrade plans below.

We recommend Buzzy Pro ($129/year) for Buzzy Classic owners who want access to the complete platform. It includes all official premium plugins: Buzzy Content Agent, Buzzy Subscriptions, Buzzy Quizzes, Buzzy SEO Pro, Buzzy Forum, and Buzzy Contact.

Buzzy Standard is also available for customers who only need the core publishing features.

Buzzy licenses are billed annually, providing access to software updates, new releases, and technical support while your subscription is active.

You can cancel your renewal anytime. Your existing website and installed features will continue working after expiration, but new downloads, updates, support, and new website activations will require renewal.

If you choose not to renew, your existing Buzzy website and all installed features will continue working normally, including your content, themes, and plugins.

However, you will lose access to new downloads, updates, technical support, and new website activations until you renew your subscription.

Your website and existing content will not be disabled or removed simply because your subscription expires.

The Buzzy migration process is designed to preserve supported content and data, including posts, lists, polls, quizzes, comments, categories, tags, media, and user accounts.

We recommend creating a complete backup and testing the migration on a staging environment before upgrading your live website, especially if you have custom modifications or third-party integrations.

Moving from Buzzy Classic to the new Buzzy involves four steps:

1. 1. Choose Your License: Select Buzzy Standard, Pro, or Agency and receive your new license key.
2. 2. Open the Upgrade Tool: Open your Buzzy Classic admin panel, navigate to Upgrade to Buzzy, and enter your new license key.
3. 3. Run the Pre-Flight Check: Verify your server requirements and prepare your installation for migration.
4. 4. Complete the Migration: Follow the upgrade process to transfer supported content and data to the new platform.

We recommend backing up your website and testing the migration in a staging environment before upgrading your production site.

Yes! Every Buzzy license includes allowances for staging and local development environments (e.g., staging.yourdomain.com or localhost). You can duplicate your classic site to a staging subdomain, test the migration end-to-end, and only switch production once you are completely satisfied.

The new Buzzy uses a completely different theme and customization system. While supported content and user data can be migrated, existing Buzzy Classic themes and custom code will not automatically transfer to the new platform.

After migration, you can choose from the new Buzzy themes and customize your website's layouts, colors, typography, and branding. Custom functionality may need to be adapted separately.

Yes. Your existing Buzzy Classic installation will continue to run without interruption. You can upgrade whenever you are ready.
