Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan Team Up, While A$AP Rocky Revives a Long-Waited Song

1 Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan turn a remix into a game-show spectacle

Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan joined forces on a new remix of “expectations,” released October 16. Roan adds a verse to Rodrigo’s song, while the music video goes retro with a game-show setup and Talking Heads frontman David Byrne as host.

The collaboration gives the track a fresh angle beyond a standard guest verse: Roan’s contribution reframes its romantic premise, and the video leans into playful television nostalgia.^[1]

2 A$AP Rocky finally releases the fan-favorite “Shroom Clouds”

A$AP Rocky has officially released “Shroom Clouds,” a song he performed in 2021 and 2022 before setting it aside. The finished track features Jeremih and Reggie, and arrives as the first taste of Don’t Be Dumb – Disc 2.

That long wait gives the release its hook: listeners can now hear the completed version of a song Rocky had been teasing live for years.^[2]
